LAWRENCE COUNTY, AL — A 23-year-old Decatur man died Tuesday morning following a pedestrian crash involving a truck on State Highway 24 near Trinity, according to WHNT.
The fatal incident took place near County Road 359, about five miles southwest of the city. Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol troopers responded to the scene at around 5:50 a.m.
Although the circumstances of the event remain under investigation, officials confirmed that the victim, Curtis O. Robinson, was hit and fatally injured by a truck. He was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate the cause of the crash. No pending charges have been reported as of this writing.
