WARREN COUNTY, MS — A 24-year-old man died Tuesday morning after a two-vehicle wreck on State Highway 3 near northeast Redwood, reports WLBT.
The collision occurred near the International Paper Company – Vicksburg Mill. Mississippi Highway Patrol troopers responded to the scene shortly before 6:00 a.m.
According to officials, Tyler McRight, of Vicksburg, was operating a 2022 Ford F-150 pickup truck southbound on MS-3. At one point, for reasons still unclear, it collided with a 2015 Peterbilt semi-truck.
McRight succumbed to his injuries at the scene, confirmed officials.
No major injuries to the driver of the Peterbilt or anyone else have been reported.
The MHP continues to investigate.
