Driver hurt as truck carrying propane tanks overturns on US-41 near Springfield

ROBERTSON COUNTY, TN — One person was hospitalized Wednesday morning when a box truck carrying hundreds of propane tanks rolled over on U.S. Highway 41 near Springfield, reports WSMV4.

The wreck took place on the southbound lanes of US-41/TN-11 southeast of Springfield and northwest of Greenbrier. It was first reported by WSMV4 at 9:12 a.m.

Little information has been provided regarding the events leading up to the crash, but the driver of the truck hauling 360 propane tanks was transported to an area hospital. Officials said the patient was listed in stable condition.
