Multi-vehicle crash in Escambia County sends tractor-trailer into mobile home

ESCAMBIA CO., FL – A driver was rushed to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash caused a tractor-trailer to slam into a mobile home in Escambia County on Wednesday morning.

According to WEAR, the tractor-trailer hauling construction equipment collided with a log truck at the intersection of County Road 97 and Highway 99 at about 7:35 p.m. The impact caused the tractor-trailer to veer off the roadway and into a nearby mobile home.

The truck’s driver, a 63-year-old man, was airlifted to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver involved was unhurt.
