Overturned semi-truck blocks I-75 near Dade City

PASCO CO., FL – Major rush-hour traffic delays were reported on Thursday after a semi-truck overturned near Dade City.

According to WTSP, the truck was heading south on I-75 near Mile Marker 293 at about 5:52 p.m. when another tractor-trailer merged into the path of the first. The driver of the first truck veered of tf the side of the roadway, causing the vehicle to tip over on the roadway.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the crash. However, all southbound lanes of the highway were closed for some time afterward while crews worked to clear the scene. All lanes have since reopened.
