HIGH POINT, NC – A three-vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer in southeast High Point on Tuesday afternoon.
According to WGHP, a Toyota pickup truck heading north on I-85, between Baker Road and I-74 at about 1:40 p.m., crossed the center median and collided with the southbound tractor-trailer. The pickup then continued on, collided with an SUV that was behind the truck.
The pickup’s driver, whose identity is unclear at this time, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was hosptialized with non-life threatening injuries.
