LEE CO., FL – A crash involving a semi-truck on I-75 in Lee County on Tuesday evening left at least one person with serious injuries.
According to Fox 4, the driver of an SUV fell asleep at the wheel at about 6:19 p.m. and drifted off the roadway, colliding with the truck that was parked on the shoulder.
The SUV then struck two additional vehicles after overturning as a result of the initial crash.
The driver of the SUV was airlifted to a local hospital in serious condition. Two passenger in the same vehicle were also hosptialized in unknown condition.
