HALL CO., GA – A semi-truck overturned near Talmo last Friday morning, scattering dozens of chickens across the highway.
According to a report by 11 Alive, the truck overturned in the northbound lanes of the Athens Highway near A.L. Magnum Road sometime before 9 a.m.
The driver was evaluated for non-life-threatening injuries at the scene. It is unclear if they were taken to an area hospital for further treatment.
The roadway was closed for several hours following the crash. Deputies with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office say the roadway reopened shortly before 1 p.m.
