Dirt bike and semi collide in Manteca, CA, injuring 17-year-old

MANTECA, CA – A teen was hospitalized Tuesday evening after his dirt bike collided with an 18-wheeler in San Joaquin County, California.

According to msn, the incident occurred around 5 p.m. at the intersection of North Main Street and Yosemite Avenue in Manteca, about 15 miles southeast of Stockton.

Police say that a 17-year-old boy was riding an off-road dirt bike southbound on North Main Street when he collided with a semi-truck at the intersection.

The teen sustained a serious leg injury and required hospitalization when his bike became pinned beneath the semi.
