Beaver Dam woman fatally hurt in semi crash near Oak Grove

OAK GROVE, WI – A 46-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries last Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in Dodge County, reports WFRV.

Around 1 p.m., emergency crews were called to the intersection of County Road South and Main Street Road near Oak Grove, which is around 45 miles northeast of Madison.

The initial investigation indicates that a southbound Honda Civic collided with an eastbound Volvo semi-truck when the driver of the Civic failed to heed a stop sign.

Medics airlifted the driver of the Civic to an area hospital, where she died the following day from injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities identified the victim as Keasha Altman.

No other injuries were reported in connection to the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
