TOWN CREEK, AL – A multi-vehicle collision hurt two people Friday in northwest Lawrence County, Alabama.
The injury accident happened sometime before 11:20 p.m., reports Fox 54, along Highway 20 in Town Creek, which is around 51 miles southwest of Huntsville.
Police haven’t yet commented on the cause or circumstances of the crash except to say that an 18-wheeler was involved along with at least two other vehicles.
Medics transported two people to area hospitals with injuries of unknown severity.
Officials closed Highway 20 in the area of the crash while crews worked at the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
