TWIGGS CO., GA – A driver was killed Tuesday morning following a fiery crash involving two tractor-trailers near Jeffersonville, according to WMAZ.
The crash took place around 8 a.m. when one truck slammed into another as it was stopped on the side of I-16, between Bullard Road and Sgoda Road.
One driver involved suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Their identity is being withheld pending further investigation. It is unclear whether anyone else suffered injuries in the wreck.
Traffic delays were reported in the area for several hours following the deadly crash. All lanes have since reopened.
