TALLADEGA CO., AL – A man was killed last Friday night in a truck accident on AL-77 south of Talladega.
According to a report by AL.com, the crash took place at about 9:30 p.m. when a 1983 Nissan truck veered off the highway near Stockdale Road and collided with a marker post before slamming into multiple trees.
The driver, later identified as 50-year-old Larry J. Tillery Jr., was not wearing a seatbelt when the crash occurred. He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
