HUBER HEIGHTS, OH – One person was killed in a collision involving a semi-truck on I-70 West Monday night, Dayton 24/7 Now reports.
According to police, the accident occurred near mile marker 36 around 10 pm. Officers arrived on the scene to find a badly damaged white sedan alongside a semi truck on the side of the road.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the white sedan was stopped in the right lane with no lights on when the semi-truck driver collided with it. The driver of the white sedan was found unresponsive. They were taken to a nearby hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
Police reported that snowy conditions likely made it difficult to see at the time of the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
