HOUSTON, TX – Four firefighters were injured when a semi-truck crashed into a fire engine on US 59 early Sunday morning, the Houston Chronicle reports.
According to the Houston Fire Department, the accident occurred around 3:32 am. The fire engine was diverting traffic near exit 151 when the tractor-trailer t-boned it.
Three of the four firefighters were hospitalized for their injuries. The other firefighter is reportedly experiencing “soreness.” All are expected to make a full recovery.
