Preliminary details suggest the woman was crossing on a green light when she was hit by the truck.<\/p>\n<p>According to eyewitnesses, the truck driver may not have seen the woman, someone they described as a person who would often beg passersby in the community for money.<\/p>\n<p>Police are actively working to locate the truck operator and their vehicle.
