It was there that a driver of a passenger vehicle appeared to drive the wrong way and collided head-on with the big rig.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The driver of the vehicle died from their injuries at the scene.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Austin Police and Texas Department of Transportation crews issued several-hour-long closures. During the lengthy shutdowns, drivers were redirected to Tech Ridge Boulevard.
