Louisiana State Police\u2019s preliminary details show that the 34-year-old man, driving a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, was going east on Hwy. 172 when he collided with a 2025 Mack Pinnacle going south on Hwy. 169.<\/p>\n<p>The 34-year-old man was ejected from his pickup truck and died from his injuries at the scene. Police identified him as Zapien German from Carthage, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Police do not believe impairment was a continuing factor behind the crash.
