LUCIE COUNTY, FL \u2013 As of Tuesday, officials have released the names of the three people who were killed in a fatal crash involving a tractor-trailer that happened on Tuesday, Aug. 12.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Local 10 has identified them as 37-year-old Rodrigue Dor. Joseph, from Pompano Beach. The two men were identified as Herby Dufresne and Faniola Joseph. One man was 30 years old and from Florida City, and a 54-year-old man from Miami.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All three were minivan occupants who collided with a tractor-trailer. The tractor-trailer driver was later arrested in California.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>You can read the previous story below<\/strong>:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Update: Semi-truck driver ID\u2019d, arrested following fatal crash near Fort Pierce<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NEAR FORT PIERCE, FL \u2013 A semi-truck driver responsible for a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/truckaccidentlawyers.com\/news\/florida-truck-accidents\/update-3-killed-in-crash-involving-big-rig-near-fort-pierce\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fatal crash that happened last Tuesday, August 12<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, near Fort Pierce has since been identified and arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles identified the driver as Harjinder Singh, according to new information from <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wptv.com\/news\/region-st-lucie-county\/fort-pierce\/semi-truck-driver-arrested-after-crash-killed-3-on-floridas-turnpike-in-fort-pierce\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">WPTV<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Florida Highway Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed that Singh has been in the U.S. illegally since 2018. He crossed the border of Mexico illegally and obtained a California Commercial Driver\u2019s License from California. Singh remains in custody and faces state vehicular homicide charges and immigration violations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on Florida\u2019s Turnpike near mile marker 170. Singh was attempting an illegal U-turn when he crashed into a black 2015 Chrysler Town &amp; Country minivan. The minivan became wedged underneath, and all three minivan occupants were either pinned or entrapped and extricated by St. Lucie County Fire Rescue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two of the minivan\u2019s passengers and a passenger died at the scene. The driver was airlifted to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, where he later died.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The minivan driver was identified as a 30-year-old man from Florida City, and the two minivan passengers as a 54-year-old man from Miami and a 37-year-old woman from Pompano Beach.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Singh also had a passenger with him.
