The car driver, identified as Travis Weams, a Prairieville local, exited his vehicle, walked across the median, and went into a northbound lane where he got hit by a 2019 Mack trash truck and a 2016 Ford Mustang.<\/p>\n<p>Weams succumbed to his injuries at the scene prior to first responders arriving.<\/p>\n<p>Louisiana State Police are working to determine whether impairment or intoxication played a role.
