As a result of not being able to use his brakes, he traveled at a high speed of 75 to 80mph before crashing into a Taco Bell construction site.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The driver was pinned inside and had to be extricated by fire crews. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The truck was carrying railroad ballast at the time of the crash.
