{"id":8348,"date":"2025-06-10T15:35:19","date_gmt":"2025-06-10T20:35:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/truckaccidentlawyers.com\/news\/?p=8348"},"modified":"2025-06-10T15:35:19","modified_gmt":"2025-06-10T20:35:19","slug":"driver-killed-passenger-hurt-in-collision-on-moody-road-in-minden","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/truckaccidentlawyers.com\/news\/louisiana-truck-accidents\/driver-killed-passenger-hurt-in-collision-on-moody-road-in-minden\/","title":{"rendered":"Driver killed, passenger hurt in collision on Moody Road in Minden\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MINDEN, LA \u2013 A truck driver lost his life and a truck passenger sustained minor injuries in a collision that happened off Moody Road Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Louisiana State Patrol told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.magnoliareporter.com\/news_and_business\/north_louisiana\/article_9a6a09ba-9bf6-476b-880c-04a6a0631ea2.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Magnolia Reporter<\/a> that the driver was driving a 2019 Mack TerraPro, when for reasons unclear, lost control of his truck. The truck veered off westbound Moody Road and crashed into a tree. Moments later, the driver succumbed to his injuries, and was officially pronounced dead at the scene by troopers at 11:15 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>EMS crews were called to the scene and transported the driver\u2019s passenger to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The surviving occupant\u2019s identity was not disclosed.
