At one point, the Volvo&#8217;s truck neglected to reduce speed in time and hit the back of the Mack truck. The impact caused the Volvo truck to jackknife, and for its cab to detach from the trailer. Both trucks ultimately came to a stop blocking all lanes of I-95.<\/p>\n<p>The Volvo truck driver, 27, was transported to UNC Nash Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
