Once the vehicles collided, the Tesla got trapped underneath the truck.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It appeared that the fire crews were able to remove the truck, but they had to extricate the five Tesla occupants. The driver, 21-year-old DeCarlo Carneal, and one female passenger, 23-year-old Jordan Jessie, died at the scene.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Medics rushed the surviving Tesla occupants, a man and woman, both 22 and a 26-year-old man, to an area hospital.
