Moments later, a 30-year-old man driving the Nissan had sped into the right lane and then rear-ended the truck.<\/p>\n<p>The force of the collision caused the car to drift off the road and go into a tree line.<\/p>\n<p>Medical helicopter personnel transported the 30-year-old male car driver and his backseat passenger, a 19-year-old adult, to Skyline Medical Center. They are recovering from non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities declared the 42-year-old man dead at the scene.
