North Carolina State Highway Patrol and EMS crews responded to the scene before 11 a.m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The driver of the Ford Explorer was pronounced deceased at the scene. Officials said the truck driver was transported to a medical facility for treatment of non-life-threatening wounds.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The decedent has since been identified as Roy Clinton Brewer Jr. Troopers have not been able to determine why Brewer lost control of his car.
