Florida Highway Patrol said the 72-year-old man was traveling east on Cortez at the time of the collision.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FHP said the man\u2019s passenger, who they identified as an 86-year-old woman from Bushnell, succumbed to fatal wounds, while ambulance personnel rushed the 72-year-old man from Nobleton to a hospital for treatment of serious wounds.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The truck driver was spared from injuries. At this time, FHP has not confirmed whether the car motorist or truck driver will be cited or charged.
