North Carolina State Highway Patrol said the Chrysler driver, later identified as Danny Scott, 64, had plowed into the large truck while it was traveling west on the highway.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Upon arrival, ambulance personnel declared Scott deceased at the crash site and then rushed Scott\u2019s passenger and the truck driver to UNC Health Blue Ridge.
