TROUTMAN, NC \u2013 An 85-woman woman tried left and struck a dump truck, causing the truck to roll over and leading to her death and injuring the truck driver and her passenger Tuesday.<\/p>\n
This collision occurred around 1 p.m. at the junction of South Main Street and Autumn Leaf Road, according to WCNC<\/a>. After the two vehicles collided, the force of this wreck caused the truck, hauling a trailer, to reverse right into a patrol car.<\/p>\n Authorities did not say if the driver of the patrol car was harmed but did say the truck driver, a 46-year-old man identified as William Wallace of Hudson, North Carolina, and the woman\u2019s passenger, 87-year-old Kenneth Jones from Troutman, were both hospitalized.<\/p>\n The woman, Mildred Jones, was also sent to a hospital where she passed away.<\/p>\n Local Police started an investigation and have not released other information.<\/p>\n
