At one point, according to the semi driver, one of the truck&#8217;s front wheels came off, causing him to veer into the other lane. Moments later, the vehicles struck each other head-on.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The impact sent both vehicles off the roadway and into a ditch and part of the wooded area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The driver of the pickup truck was pronounced deceased. At the time of the WALB update on Tuesday afternoon, June 25, t<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">roopers were working to notify the family of the victim.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An investigation by GSP remains underway.
