Sabine Fire &amp; Rescue, who were among the emergency first responders to be summoned to the scene, the driver of the 18-wheeler proceeded through some traffic cones set up on one closed lane and then struck the fire engine, which was placed there as a way to block the lane amid some traffic congestion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After the vehicles collided, the big rig moved around 300 feet, and then came to rest 60 feet in front of the fire truck before stopping.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Officials did not clarify if a person was inside the fire truck engine when the truck driver slammed into it, but authorities confirmed absolutely no one, including the crews responding to traffic, was injured.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, first responders did not say if rain played a role in this crash.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At this time, it is also unclear if the big rig driver will be charged or cited for their involvement in this collision.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Should new information come to light, this news blog will be updated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/embed?mid=14sKQC3dCQccACK7tDES5webN0VCRsl4&amp;ehbc=2E312F&amp;noprof=1\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The events leading up to a tractor-trailer collision can look different for everyone involved.
