It was first reported at about 8:55 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>An early investigation by Florida Highway Patrol officials indicate a 16-year-old Pensacola resident was driving a Kia Soul eastbound on County Road 196 when she stopped at a stop sign before US-29. Authorities said the driver of the Kia Soul failed to yield to the oncoming traffic while driving across the southbound highway. Moments later, the car collided with a semi-truck.<\/p>\n<p>One of the passengers in the Kia Soul, a 17-year-old boy, died from his injuries at the scene.
