At one point, for reasons still unclear, the vehicle struck the semi and became stuck under its trailer.<\/p>\n<p>First responders pronounced the driver of the sedan deceased at the scene. His identity has not been made public at this time.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities had part of the westbound interstate closed during the emergency response and investigation.
