The truck veered off the roadway and into an embankment before catching fire.<\/p>\n<p>The driver, 47-year-old Zachary Gesibe Oonge, of Texas, was transported to UNC-Hospital in Chapel Hill with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators are working to establish an official cause of the crash.
